When you choose to consign your home furnishings with Homedaubers, you will receive excellent service, a commitment to quality,  and fair pricing.  We pledge to display your  items  in a home-like setting, to make them visible, and treat them like our own.  Our location is another reason to consider us; we are in the heart of Newburgh in a high traffic area.  
             
Home décor can be brought into the store anytime during business hours Tuesday through Friday. WE DO NOT TAKE CONSIGNMENTS ON SATURDAY. All items should be brought in a box or bag marked with your complete contact information.  Items that do not fit into a box or bag, need to be marked sperately.  WE WILL NOT ACCEPT UNMARKED CONSIGNMENTS. There is a limit of three boxes per week.  Please note: we may not be able to approve items while you wait.  You will be contacted of items not accepted; you will have seven days to pick them up or they will be donated.


All items must be in good clean sellable condition.  We do not accept dirty storage boxes,  items with pet hair, or smoke odor.  They will be rejected.

Items we sell include:  furniture, home décor, kitchen ware, bedding, curtains, lamps, rugs, genuine name-brand purses, jewelry, new  TV’s, baby furniture, outdoor furniture, and bicycles in good condition.

We do not take the following: clothing, exercise equipment, large appliances, mattresses, building materials, computers/accessories, CD's, books, magazines, used health or beauty products, or sporting goods.

Furniture consignments must be pre-approved.  Please send pictures to [email protected]  We will respond within 24 hours.  If you don't hear from us, we didn't recieve them.  Include your name, address, and phone number, known information, and cash offer amount.


All furniture brought into the store is consigned 50/50 split.  Any furniture we pick up is a 40/60 split with the store receiving 60%.  All decor and accessories are a 40/60 split with the store receiving 60%.  Homedaubers reserves the right to set all prices.  We may ask for and consider your suggestions on pricing.  

The consignment contract is for 90 days.  Items will be reduced 15% at 30 & 60 days.  Items picked up during the first  60 days will be subject to a 10% fee.    Please note we do not give contract end notices or reminder calls.  We do provide an on-line service that will give contract end dates, item status, and check pay outs.  There is a 14 day grace period at the end of your contract to pick up unsold items.  Any items  left past this period will be donated or become the property of Homedabuers.  


Checks are distributed the 15th of the month following the sale of the item.
